Decisions

The past week has been both a relief and frustrating. I finished my classes, but Geoff still has finals next week.

We've talked to a lot of people and looked at a lot of options, and at this point there are so many things up in the air so its we really can't decide what we want to do. It seems like things eventually always fall into place. But, as many people know, I am not the kind of person who can sit around and just wait. I like to have things planned out and have some sort of idea what we're doing.

Hopefully we will know a little bit more in the next few weeks.

Monday, I am going to start training again for races. I'm really going to do it. The last few months have not been good for me, and I feel really lazy. I miss the days when I could run for hours and it was fun. (And yes, I'm still working on Geoff...I'll get him sooner or later :-) )

Almost done...

School is finally almost done for this semester!!! Too bad we both have quite a bit more until we graduate. It will be so nice to just hang out and not worry about tests! We're just going to stay here this summer and both work. It's going to be fun...lots of hiking and outdoors stuff.

We've been playing racquetball a lot lately. That game is so much fun! You should try it if you haven't. It's SO much better then tennis. Some of our friends taught us a few weeks ago and now we play almost every other day. Needless to say we are both very bad and it's more about how hard we can hit it. And yes, I have gotten my fair share of bruises.

I've had a lot of friends and family asking me about nutrition and exercise. So, I decided that I would start a blog dedicated to just that. I'll let you know when it's done...hopefully it will be soon. (Probably after finals)

Now that basketball is over, I'm trying to get Geoff to run with me. Maybe do a few halfs, at least a 10k, and maybe even do a triathlon together. It would be so much fun, but knowing Geoff it's going to take a lot of convincing - but I'm still trying!

Ups and Downs

Yesterday was just one of those days that are both good and bad.

First, Geoff found out yesterday that the NCAA denied his appeal for another year to play. (It's a long story) We both really thought that they would give him one more year, and so when we found out that they denied it it was really kinda sad. All of the sudden basketball was over.

We're not sure whats going to happen now. We're most likely going to just stay here and Geoff will finish school. At the same time though it will be nice to have Geoff around and be able to have a little more freedom to do fun stuff.

The good part of yesterday was KU WON!!!! I have had them winning every year for the past 23 years (probably not that long...but as long as I can remember) - and now they finally did it!

We're Trying This Again....

So after my last failed attempt to join the blogging world, we, or I, have decided to try it again. And since I can't even remember our user name, so we're starting a whole new one. I'm not promising anything...so keep the expectations low.
