I am so bad at updating this blog. I always start a new post, then get distracted and never finish.

Here's a quick rundown of what's happened to us in the last 4 months:

Geoff graduated!! - After a TON of hard work, Geoff graduated from Westminster with a degree in accounting. Now to find something to do with it....

I had knee surgery - On August 5th I had my 3rd knee surgery. It was originally just supposed to be a "clean up" of the meniscus and bone, but turned into a little bit bigger procedure. They did what it called a medial reefing. Basically, they unattached the insertion point for the muscle on the inside of the knee and move it over closer to the knee cap. It's supposed to hold the knee in place better. Because of this part of the surgery, I've lost most of the muscle mass in the quad, and have a longer recovery time. Hopefully this will be the last surgery though.

Geoff decided to try to play basketball in Europe - After all his success and awards from playing basketball, it seemed kinda crazy to not even try to go play professionally in Europe. He got an agent from one of his former coaches and, long story short, it has been very disappointing and frustrating. This agent got Geoff a few offers, but no where near what he had been told to expect. In the past few days he got a new agent, and hopefully this guy will be able to find a team for Geoff. But after this 6 month process, I think we are both just ready for it to be over...whether we move to Europe or not.

I think thats about all that has happened this summer. Although I feel like we were a lot more busy then it seems.

I'll try to be better about updating from here on out - but don't expect too much! :-)
