I really should be doing homework, but i just looked and saw really how long it has been...and it doesn't help that I try to find things to do instead of homework.
Life has been crazy busy the past two months. Geoff has been gone almost every week from Thursday until Sunday on basketball trips - all while trying to juggle school. His teachers have been so great to work with him though. He has one class that is Thursday nights, which he misses most of the time. The teacher is awesome and comes in on Tuesday mornings and teaches him and a few other students the same stuff he taught the previous Thursday. This semester has been a hard one for him. He is taking 16 credits - and some of the hardest classes in the Accounting program. I have to say, he is amazing. I don't know anyone else that could do what he does. And I am very appreciative of how hard he works to put himself through school. Just a few more months and he will be done!
Basketball is good. The team is 23-3. It's crazy to think that this really is Geoff's last year of basketball - unless someone can find a way to get him another Senior year! :-) His last two home games are this week, and they play Rocky Mountain and Carroll. These will be two good games! Right now, things are looking good for them to go to the National Tournament. I'm very excited because if they go, I get to go too! And guess where it is - yup, KANSAS CITY!! I haven't been back to Kansas since we moved and I can't wait to see my old house, schools and stuff like that.
I decided about 6 months ago that I wanted to go to Nursing School. I'm about half way done with my exercise physiology degree, but most of the classes I need to get into nursing school will go towards finishing that. Right now I'm planning on taking classes the summer and fall at both Utah and SLCC so I can apply next spring for the Fall 2010. I'm beginning to think I'll be in school for the rest of my life!
